Fried Chayote with Lean pork

合掌瓜炒肉片

Ingredients

  • chayote 2 pcs

  • lean pork 5 oz

  • garlic 2 cloves

Sauce

  • light soy 1 tsp

  • sugar 1/2 tsp

  • sesame oil pinch

  • water some

  • cornflour 1 tsp

Seasonings

  • light soy 1/2 tsp

  • sugar 1/2 tsp

  • cornflour 1 tsp

  • sesame oil pinch

  • pepper pinch

Method

  1. Rinse lean pork and slice. Marinate with seasonings for 20 minutes.
    Peel chayote, discard the seed and slice.

  2. Heat wok with 2 tbsp. oil. Saute crushed garlic and chayote until fragrant. Pour in prok. Fry for a while. Add in sauce. Stir well and serve.
